"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! "Rommet vi hadde var stort, men sengene var helt forferdelig å sove på. Madrassene og putene var veldig tynne. Onsen var fin, men for noen som ikke har prøvd en onsen før var det litt vanskelig å vite hvordan man skulle følge reglene. Frokosten var flott presentert og satt opp, men smakte ikke all verdens. Lokasjonen var langt unna alt annet."
