"We enjoyed an extended weekend at this cabin, which was clean, bright, and welcoming. Great landing space to explore along Lake Superior's north shore. The driveway does go uphill from Hwy 61 with one steep spot after a narrow bridge -- otherwise all as expected."

"We had a lovely time in this cabin. The fire pit is perfect, with comfortable chairs. A marshmallow/hot dog roasting stick in the kitchen! Excellent Weber gas grill. Didn't try the sauna but it looked amazing. Generous supply of firewood. Skylight provided lovely nighttime views. We did not hear any other people in the area, aside from faint noise from the highway."

"The cabin is just wonderful. It has everything needed and the view of the lake and the surrounding area is just beautiful. The screened in porch area is great as we were able to enjoy the views, sounds of nature and our morning coffee completely bug free. Communication with the owners could not be better. It is a great place to stay while exploring the North shore!"

"Arrived and was greeted with a smile. Check-in and Check-out was very easy and fast. The hotel was clean along with our room being clean. We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub (no fault of the hotel - we just didn't take the time to use them). Had a jacuzzi in our room and that was so relaxing! Breakfast options are great and something for everyone. I wish there was a belgian waffle maker and not just the pancake marker :) This will does not effect the stay, just a personal preference! This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this hotel for our anniversary and we certainly will be back! Oh, very convenient to stores, restaurants, coffee shops, gas station and attractions. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The house is very relaxing and the sounds of the waves made it even more relaxing. The house is how it is pictured and the owners were very quick to respond to my questions. I will definitely stay here again."

"The property is located right along Lake Superior and each room has a balcony that overlooks the lake. The property is somewhat older, but the owners are doing a lot of repairs. Our check-in was smooth and quick, the staff was very friendly, and coffee/hot chocolate/hot cider were available all day in a very nice sitting area. Although you have to drive to anyplace to eat, the location was close enough to towns that it wasn't a big issue. We also love Tofte and Grand Marais, so both were easy visits."

"I can't say enough good things about our experience there! From the friendly and helpful staff to the awesome pool/sauna/ whirlpool to the updated townhouse we stayed in. Our family has been to a lot of properties on the North shore and this was my (and my kids) favorite! We will be back. "
