"I really like this hotel. The lobby bar is not great but the free Keurig coffee machine more than makes up for it. It is a nice hotel with ample parking and close to some great restaurants and of course the Casino is within walking distance. "

"Silver Star is a fabulous mountain resort. While this year has been challenging for the entire West Coast the snow conditions on the groomers was excellent. We did get a few runs in the steeper terrain when things softened up but the snowpack limited good access to the best terrain. The house is well equipped with anything you will need for an extended stay, but a slightly larger hot tub would be nice. Parking was a bit cramped as we had two larger vehicles (Suburban and Tahoe), and the other tenant also had a larger pickup, but it still worked. It's easier if you back in up the hill. Ski in/out was easy once we figured out where the access ways were. A map would be helpful for the first day for those who can't boot pack up the hill behind the house or if the conditions are too icy as they were for us. With us as a 3-generation family a second TV would be nice, maybe in the downstairs bedroom. We would definitely stay here if we all come back together again."
