"This rental was clean and spacious in a nice quiet hamlet about 3 km south of Rousillon with free parking. However at first it was difficult to find as the listing shows it in the center of Rousillon. Once we found it and met the owner, she was very responsive despite the fact that we spoke little French and she spoke little English. This owner gives you the option of bringing your own sheets/linens and doing your own cleaning or you are assessed an additional fee. Aside from the two surprises...

"Lighting a bit dim for reading in the evenings. Rooms beautifully cool, good equipment, everything we needed and lots of space. Nice outdoor eating area. Welcome was friendly and efficient. Beds comfortable. For four people an extra comfortable seat in the main area would be good. Good value for money though. Peaceful but only 10 mins from Buis."

"Great location and good facilities. On arrival be prepared for the near Everest climb to the apartment, this would not suit many, noting that many of the lights do not work? Apartment as discribed, nice. Pool nice, views amazing! No notes of accommodation tips, received messages days later about outside lights and pool cover? If one doesn’t know? Never visited the spa gym, it’s not obvious where or how (accommodate tips?) but you have to book in?? Overall a great holiday, Cucuron is right Oo...
