"I am a single mother, who paid for a Mother's Day weekend trip to see one of my favorite artists perform. I specifically chose thishotel because I've never stayed at this end of the strip and was very interested in the property.
Upon checking in & getting my room, I came downstairs to tell the agents that I was dissatisfied with the location of my room. I was told that it was late in the night and that the hotel was almost sold out. If I came down early in the morning the next day Friday, May 8 I would be able to change rooms.
Unfortunately Friday when I spoke to the agent I was told that the hotel did not have any rooms available for me to change locations, as well as I should've done it the night before instead of waiting.
The room had been at the very tail end of the hallway, near the exit sign. It was isolated and dark and made me uncomfortable, I began having a slight anxiety attacks walking to the location of that room being a solo traveler.
I explained this to the agent and her manager at the time, she seemed sincerely helpful and apologized for not being able to accommodate me and said that she could at least takeoff the resort fee. As well as for me to try back the next day, and there will for sure be another room available.
I had a full itinerary, and missed out on a few events waiting in the excessively long line to speak to someone. I accepted her offer and decided to come back the next day. On this day, I had tickets to go see my favorite artist Mary J . "
