"We’re familiar with Singapore so an aparthotel slightly off the main drag worked for us. Easy to walk to the subway or bus stop, plus Fraser Suites offers a shuttle service. Efficient well-stocked kitchen for meals in. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Separate desk from the kitchen table kept work stuff away from food prep. Tub and shower, plenty of bathroom space to share. Quiet. Loved the walk along Alexandra Canal to Clarke Quay. Saw otters in the canal!"

"Comfortable, clean hotel within walking distance to public transport, local attractions and food options. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Singapore. Outside of the hotel looks a little dated, but inside is great - we appreciated the larger room and generous sized bathroom. We were also very thankful that the hotel staff let us check in early after a very long night travelling - this was amazing. "

"Excellent stay at the Novotel Clark Quay. Such a handy location. You have the Metro behind the hotel. Walk across the road and you have your choice of over 30 restaurants & bars. But be warned, many don't open before 5pm. So make sure you book breakfast at the hotel. You can do a river cruise and see some of the sights by water. If walking is your thing, then straight out of the hotel and you can do an amazing walk along the river side, amazing photo opportunities along the way & Raffles is not...

"Everything good or great.. short walk to bars and dining.. in-house restaurant was fantastic and guests get a discount.. Only issue at check in was staff requested an exorbitant early check fee which we got quite angry about and refused.. but seriously everything else including staff fantastic"

"This is an older property, but the location is fantastic as it’s very near to the Singapore River - Robertson & Clarke Quays with tons of dining options. It’s also right next to a bus stop & a short distance from Havelock MRT. The rooms are a decent size with solid beds & they make sure that the AC in the lobby is set 25-30 degrees cooler than outside, which is *awesome* if you’re someone who's not used to the heat & coming inside after walking around on a hot day …of which there are many...
