"On our way to the summer Olympics we stopped in Amsterdam, looking for a unique experience. We booked this houseboat and found that exploring the city by day and staying on the boat at night was a fantastic way to begin our vacation. The boat is clean and surprisingly spacious and we loved sitting up on deck watching the the lights sparkling on the water and the perspective of all the water activity. Much better than a mundane hotel!"

"Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Boot ist sehr gemütlich und nach unseren Tagesausflügen nach Amsterdam und Delft haben wir Abends die Ruhe auf dem Boot sehr genossen, Jeden Tag ein neuer wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang. Unseren Töchtern (15 & 18) hat es auch sehr gefallen und das ist nicht immer sehr leicht zu gewährleisten ;-). Der Weg zum Supermarkt dauert zu Fuss schon 20 Minuten, wir hatten aber Mietfahrräder, so ging das sehr gut. Der Weg nach Amsterdam ist sehr gut mit ÖV...

"Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Dafür muss man dann um 10:00 Uhr morgens schon wieder draußen sein, das finde ich etwas knapp. Man muss auch alles ordentlich und sauber hinterlassen, es wird...

The property handled the situation horribly and weeks later hasnt replied to my multiple emails or even refunded what I paid for my stay. "Einfach traumhaft schönes Hausboot… Funktional eingerichtet. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter sehr gemütlich und hell. Die Einflugschneise Shipol hat uns nicht gestört, im Gegenteil… Flugzeuge schauen war sehr interessant. Wer allerdings geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte die Wohnung meiden. Enten schauen und Boote gucken lässt es nicht langweilig werden. Super Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe."

"The hotel and facilities was excellent. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal was delicious. The room and the views exceeded our expectations. Using the hotel bikes to get around was great fun and quicker than walking. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe. The bus was a short journey from Centraal Station and there was a good frequency of services. Overall, a fantastic stay at the July."
