Angekommen mit geliehenen Fahrrädern aus Purmerend, wurden wir herzlichst von Mike empfangen.Das Boot liegt abseits des großen Kanals, umgeben von (Mini-)Pferden, Hühnern, Katzen und allen anderen möglichen Tieren.Die Größe ist sehr gemütlich, auch wenn man als 1,94-m-Mensch nicht stehen kann, was allerdings überhaupt nicht stört,...

"We had an amazing visit to Amsterdam thanks to our HomeAway Houseboat Rental. We were situated exactly where most would prefer, it was very quiet on the water at night. Arie was a very gracious host who always responded quickly on any questions we had, before and during our stay. There is a very helpful folder with recommendations for cafés/restaurants as well as suggestions for sightseeing tours close-by etc. Communication with Anouk was very easy. I can highly recommend this little juwel of a houseboat."

"We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building."

"Bel hébergement, bien situé. Un petit magasin est disponible au niveau de la marina. Un autre se trouve trouve un peu plus loin dans Volendam. La péniche bouge un peu lorsqu'il y a du vent, donc il faut tout de même s'assurer que vous n'avez pas le mal de mer. La cuisine est pratique pour se faire à manger. La ville est superbe et facile d'accès à pied."
