"While the exterior of the hotel looked quite dated, the interiors were stunning, new and stylish. Beds were comfy, and bathrooms and fixtures were all updated. Views were expansive and beyond stunning to water, alley and castles. . Hotel is the best location if you want to be in the heart of this charming town and walk to shops and restaurants. We could also walk to some of the castles. Staff was incredibly gracious, and many nice amenities and gifts were found in the room. Plus we had an enormous balcony as we had the end unit. Would absolutely recommend! "

"We absolutely loved staying at Villa Bela Vista and highly recommend it. Gorgeous property and elegant yet comfortable, spacious room with doors to a large terrace with sweeping views for miles and miles. The lovely breakfast was a pleasant surprise with personal service. The only disappointment is there was no easy way to do laundry, and as we were on an extended trip, even a pricy pick-up/delivery service would have been helpful. That's my only recommendation. Otherwise, everything was perfection."

"The view. Wow. I still see it when I close my eyes - the enormous pool, the beach at low tide, the surfers, the sunset. Wow. Clean, quiet (except the roar of ocean waves lulling you to sleep), delicious food at the restaurant, easy steps to the sand...this was our last stop in Portugal and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat."
