"Always a good place to stay, easy access to city and university. Easy to checkin. One of my first choices on a trip."

"Friendly & helpful staff; clean, well maintained property. The in-house restaurant was very handy with great food. I particularly liked the location which not in the CBD."

"The room was quite large the staff were totally excellent, if I had to stay in the city I would stay there again very convenient."

"The apartment wasn’t properly cleaned, with dirty carpets, stains on the lounge, mould and old soap in the bathroom, and rubbish/stuff under the couch. Both bathroom doors didn’t lock, a window latch was broken, the dryer didn’t work, requested drying rack never got a response. No cups or mugs in the apartment. We requested a partial refund due to the issues, but this was declined. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"Great location"

"Great parking. Great location to walking distance to transport for city. Would stay again"

"The property is a bit tired, but it is well kept and close to Wesley Hospital and the river ferry terminal"

"This hotel was an absolute shocker. The room was run down, both showers were mouldy, and the noise was so bad I didn’t sleep at all. The heater didn’t work in the bedroom, and in the middle of winter they expect guests to use a thin blanket instead of a proper doona. During my stay I read the reviews, and the same issues have been...

"Great price, perfectly positioned and fantastic accomadation"

"We love staying at the Star Grand Brisbane. However this time at the restaurant at the Sky Deck they had an Oyster and Domaine Chandon Happy Hour from 4 - 6. We went up and ask for the promotion which was $3 Oysters and a glass of Chandon for $12. We were told by the young girl there that they had run out of oysters. I said ok I will just have a glass of Chandon for $12. She politely told me I could not have the Chandon for $12 because I wasn't having the oysters. To which I replied but...

"Was very happy with stay only thing I lost a key and the cost to replace is over the top not happy about that but overall good place"

"From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff. They were more than happy to assist in any questions or concerns we had. Our room had great views even with the partial river view. Food and drink was great. We were only there a few nights but looking forward to another stay"

"Good location. Fully contained serviced apartments and good amenities. Shower small and poor shower screen design, water leaks out the side. Definitely need the floor towel. Overall a pleasant stay."
