"Beautiful hotel. I paid extra for a deluxe double room, which was lovely overall. However, one downside—never mentioned during booking or at check-in—was that the room didn’t have an external window. Instead, it faced the bar area, so there was no natural light in the room."

NCP car park a couple of hundred metres away round the back, with generous discount scheme. Our only complaint was that the windows don't open at all. The A/C was efficient and quiet but avoid if you don't get on with this sort of setup."

"Our room was really spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bed itself was huge. There is a restaurant/ bar attached which served nice drinks and had a nice seating area outdoors. The staff were very welcoming and checking in and out was easy. We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a concert in the Principality Stadium. It was the perfect location for this as it was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel."

"Perfect venue for Castle events. Clean and wonderful staff. Good value. Outside doesn’t look that inviting but once inside a lovely entrance hall. Rooms had good amenities and a good view of the castle."
