"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

The quaint historic room was comfortable and with an en- suite and soaking tub. The restaurant was like a high level restaurant with an extensive menu. I had the Rogan Josh curry which was amazing. The potato soup was the BEST I have EVER had!! Our breakfast was very good too. Full English with local sausage. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. It was so peaceful and quiet. Worth being a little bit out of town. So relaxing.

Check in was a breeze. Room was immaculately clean. Double bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff were very attentive. Breakfast offerings were about average for a hotel. Dining menu was limited, but presented well. Dining staff was shorthanded as all restaurants or hotels seem to be these days, but were very attentive to requests. If you are renting a car to hotel, be prepared to stay in public parking garage around the corner about a two minute walk from hotel. We used Uber to get to local...
