"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "Lovely clean, spacious studios equipped with all you need for a self catering stay. The owner, his wife and son were most welcoming and friendly and always had a cheerful greeting for us. Very convenient for both the beach and the village, both within a few minutes walk. There were a couple of supermarkets close by for breakfast provisions etc and a superb bar just around the corner. Would definitely recommend this property for for a wonderful stay in Georgiopolis."
