"The staff at this property were all professional, friendly and helpful, they had a really impressive rapport with each other which was clear to see. the food was well presented and cooked and the taste was of a high standard, both at our evening meal and breakfast. the only issue we had was that the air con system kept us awake throughout the night which was really disappointing as we had booked to rest and recuperate before my next major surgery, instead of leaving replenished and recharged we left feeling lethargic, disappointed and extremely tired, we did inform the front desk about the issue when we checked out, I would have expected a member of management to contact myself directly to address the situation but this did not happen unfortunately. in the circumstances I am extremely disappointed in the handling of our complaint and unfortunately it has made me hesitant to re-book and stay again, which is really sad as the staff we had interaction with around the hotel were so nice. we usually stay at Dakota but have stayed here a couple of times and were beginning to feel as comfortable in each, but after the lack of urgency to address and rectify the issue in our stay this time it has left us feeling disappointed."
