"The Woolly Sheep is a lovely base for a trip to Skipton and the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and maintained with plenty of storage available should you need it.
The restaurant and bars are comfortable and the food is very good. Being summer, we made use of the outside courtyard to sit and enjoy a lovely glass of chilled wine!
The bars must also be lovely and cosy in the winter so that may warrant another trip.
The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly.
One thing to be aware of - there are lots of steps and stairs which should be expected given the age of the property.
However, I would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful Inn."
