Good modern & spacious rooms. Excellent staff from reception to house keeping. This is our return hotel for the last 3years, brilliant location for all amenities including the Point shopping centre which is a 2 minute walk away. Largest and best shopping centre in Malta. I would recommend this hotel for everyone, including couples & families.

We loved it and have stayed before, lovely clean room and great location. Only downside was that the heating in the hotel was on and it was very hot and we were told we couldn’t therefore use the aircon and to open our balcony door, unfortunately we were very close to the road so this made it very noisy.

Good location. Really impressed with the room and breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Never quite worked out where the hotel parking was - but very close to a public car park which is a lot cheaper than hotel (6 vs 15 euros) - only downside is you have to move your car every day.

The room was beautifully decorated, with all the comforts we'd expect and more. The amenities at the hotel are great. Use of the gym for free was a real bonus for us and one of the main reasons for booking. It's a fantastic facility. Access to the outdoor pool at Manta was straightforward and another great bonus. However, the service at Manta leaves a lot to be desired, though I accept this is not likely anything to do with the hotel.

The view and location were what sold me on Barcelo. Cant beat a view across the water to fabulous viiew of Valletta. Location to restaurants and the ferry or other rental boats was great Our room was really huge and very modern. Our balcony was also a plus. Worth the extra money to get a room with a view.
