"The deck, and even the couch inside, were excellent spots for watching the sunset. The constant sound of the waves crashing on the shore can be heard at the house- something I found peaceful and relaxing! The steps down to the beach felt secure and safe. The beach was sandy and clean, not full of pebbles like some beaches along this coast. The kitchen was a delight to cook in with so much floor and counter space, natural light, and unexpected kitchen gadgets. A fresh scent from cleaning was noticeable when we entered, but did not last long as we opened the screened door and windows. Also, it was noticeable that detergents with fragrances were used to wash the linens. The bed was very soft, but the couch was firmer. I actually enjoyed sleeping on the couch and waking up to see the pink from the sunrise on the horizon of the lake. Temperature control zones were nice for a cooler sleeping environment. The propane tank was low when we arrived, but we had plenty for our evening meal. We messaged the hosts that evening, and they had it replaced early the next morning without us even noticing. Excellent service!"
