Room was also nice, however bad smell in the bathroom and a little dusty around the bed and lots of cobweb on the windows (when opening window spiders came in). Great staff. Restaurant waitress spoke only English and didn't know the meny but asked collueges. Breakfast - the homemade bread was a disappointment but the pancakes were amazing. Overall a lovely stay and would definately visit again!"

"It's a bed and breakfast. And the rooms are quite rudementary, the sound insulation so and so, and the cleanliness of the communal toilets and showers vary. But the price is good, the location excellent, and the breakfast exemplary. So all in all, we give it five stars. And will stay there again when we visit Mariefred."

"Beautiful, historic property. Rooms were nice, dining area was very historic feeling, enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast buffet the next morning was varied and high quality. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Loved all the photos and personal items around the home, it was nice to see previous owners and uses, I love history, so this was a real treat for me. "
