"We had a short break at Stoke Park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a very special place and the grounds are fantastic. A highlight was the swimming pool which was very warm, we'll maintained and beautiful with lots of natural light and a big fish tank at the back. The gardens are beautiful and the playground was of very high quality and provided great entertainment for the kids (7 & 3). David at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. "The reception areas and grounds were beautifully kept. The room was a little tired and the ceilings in the bathroom were particularly low - anyone over 5ft 5 might struggle to stand in the bath to use the shower. But the bed linen was spotless and the bed itself extremely comfy. I slept well and heard minimal noise from other guests and from the surrounding area. Would highly recommend. "

"Easy distance from St Pancras/King's Cross stations. Smallish room but modern and well designed with everything needed for overnight stay. No kettles in room but could buy coffee from the machine in the downstairs bar. Staff friendly and overall felt safe and secure."
