"Never stayed there. After 3 days awake in airports due to weather canceled flights, I Googled “Affordable Hotel with breakfast and fitness room in Jacksonville, North Carolina.” Then Expedia populated with “Best Western Jacksonville Inn” and I booked a room for 2 nights. Exhausted, I then drove to Jacksonville, North Carolina only to learn Expedia’s advertising left out “Illinois,” which meant my booked location was a 15 hour drive away. The booked property pointed to Expedia and Expedia pointed to the property and I am simply the loser who will NEVER, EVER use Expedia EVER again. Neither would you or the folks at Expedia who place a higher value on rejecting my refund application than keeping me as a customer. Rules smules. You AND Expedia’s brass would want their money back."

"Very perfect for our group. The bedrooms met our needs and everything we needed was there already. The decor was well done and welcoming, the property’s privacy was great for our group of giggling women bonding with time together. "

"This was an amazing find and a tiny little town!The house was very clean, two bedrooms, one bath, big kitchen, really big living/dining room. Outside was adorable, nice big deck, nice patio and even a little outside building made up to be a library with a TV and a fireplace. Very welcoming. There was a grill, an outdoor fireplace, plenty of seating out there as well.The neighborhood is very quiet. I think for a three night stay we might have seen something like four cars.The host left us bottled water, toiletries, washing laundry detergent. It is dog, friendly, and the yard is big for the dogs.Unfortunately, the event that we were there for did not allow us much time to enjoy the backyard or the deck.The town is very small and your options for food and groceries are very limited. The latest restaurant open on Saturday night was only till 8 PM, so just plan ahead on your food.If I come for an event in this area again, I will absolutely rent this house again"

"I will not be staying at this property again and I will 100% be back in this area. My room smelt of animal urine. My comforter had a large yellow stain on it that had a remnant urine smell. I switched it out for a different blanket. Luckily running the air conditioning a little helped to cycle the urine smell out of the room. "
