"The room was lovely, the bed was comfy and the staff were excellent! There’s a warm welcoming atmosphere to the place, we were made to feel at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hence we booked for an extra night. Thank you!"

"Had one night in a single on B&B basis while visiting family for a night out. Building is a pub in an old building with the upper rooms converted to accommodation. Although the room was small it was a masterpiece of how to use space and did. Not feel cramped in any way. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. With the property being on a main thoroughfare and a very busy pub a nice touch was the provision of earplugs. Breakfast was served in a restaurant area at the back of the pub. Unlike most hotel breakfasts you choose from a menu and it’s cooked fresh for you and was top quality. Staff were lovely, but a note of caution for nervous types there are no staff on site overnight, but a telephone number is provided in case of emergency. There is no onsite parking, but a public car park is available across the road. I travelled by train and the station is 10 minutes walk. "
