"What a wonderful stay we had! We were in Groveland for seven nights, and our only regret was that we were not staying longer. The house is nestled in a way that it has complete privacy. It has a view to the lake which makes sitting out especially pleasant. Beds were very comfortable, great shower pressure, and spacious kitchen which I especially appreciated as I cooked most of our meals. "We had a nice stay and was not too far from Yosemite Valley. This cabin was better than I was expecting. It's big and had vaulted ceilings. We used the hot tub each night after a day of strenuous hiking up mountains. We also used the washer and dryer. The futon/pull-out couch in the living room was extremely comfortable. "We absolutely loved the stay in the little Red Barn! Very clean, everything we needed plus extras. Beautiful property so quiet and peaceful. What we really liked best was the drive to and from Yosemite. It is beautiful, along the Merced river and the park entrance was no wait line. We loved the town of Mariposa for dinners out and grocery. Plus it was nice to stay away from crowds in Yosemite. We visited the park to hike everyday."

"We enjoyed our stay. Love the decks! My complaint is that the rungs of the railing that line the loft, which overlooks the family room, are not up to code. They are spaced too far apart. We have twin two year old grandchildren and everytime they ventured up the stairs we had to stand by the railing so they wouldn't go by it, because they could have potentially fallen through them to the family room below. I wanted to warn other future renters, with small children, of this danger."
