Disappointed with club lounge when we we unable to get a further drink 20 mins before end time and told bar was busy. However on check out this was acknowledged and we were made an offer of transfer to airport but as pre- booked one, we asked for a complimentary drink which was provided. Otherwise a great hotel, staff, breakfast and comfortable room. Had trestment at spa which was lovely. Walking to centre easy and things to see around the hotel

They made me feel welcomed. The room was very spacious and equipped with all the amenities I would like to have while traveling. Especially a big comfy sofa with an end table was extra special and made me feel at home and my stay very pleasant. The ambiance of the breakfast room was delightful and food was delicious and high quality. Especially the section with the array of the traditional dishes of Bulgaria was specia and well thought out since it gives an opportunity for foreigne travelers to experience Bulgarian dishes. It’s my most favorite hotel downtown Sofia. Every time I travel I have a mental review whether I should book here or The Sense hotel (which is also excellent) and I always end up at the Intercontinental. I don’t think there is a better city view anywhere else. The 6th floor terrace rooms with Cathedral view are divine. This time I stayed at the bookends 602 and 616. Can’t decide which one I like better. But I love the terraces. They have enough awning that you can hide from the sun if need be (it’s hot in August) or be in the sun if you want to it. Great for entertaining friends or just presiding over the National Assembly and the horseman and admiring Alexander Vevski Cathedral. The staff is excellent.
