"I really loved this hotel. It’s extremely comfortable, and the design feels warm and home-like rather than like a typical hotel. The common spaces are large and inviting, and the staff were all very kind and welcoming. I was unfortunately assigned the first room right next to the common area. There wasn’t enough separation between the room and the shared space, and conversations from the common area were quite audible at night. After 10 pm, the door to the common area was still left open, so I closed it myself to reduce the noise. However, the door opening and closing was still quite loud, and the sound insulation could be improved. Aside from this, the stay was excellent. I would happily stay here again."

"Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again."

"Parking is a little tricky for the suites, but manageable. The staff is helpful and responsive, but not overly friendly. There's a bar and a limited menu in the main building. Laundry service available. Amazing views of the ocean, as promised. Less than 10 minutes drive to Vik with all kinds of dining, shopping and fuel. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Great staff. Nice room with great soap shampoo and conditioner!! We had to leave early morning and could not have breakfast. The front desk arranged for packed breakfast for us. This worked out very well for us. We had a comfortable stay. "

"We stayed at Farmhouse Lodge’s Chicken house for 2 days before Christmas and absolutely loved it. The Chicken house has everything- fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom. The location is wonderful since you can go and see several waterfalls and black sands beaches near by. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to explore that area of Iceland."
