"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). Top Somatas Hotel Reviews

Oros Luxury Beach Resort

Oros Luxury Beach Resort

8/10 Good
"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"
