"Overall the hotel was good. The best thing about it was the staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. however there was an issue with the thermostat that was very difficult to work and did not adjust the heat or cold well. We could not sleep due to overheating the room and it took quite a while to figure out how to turn it off. After that we heard the heating going on and off in all the other rooms during the night so the noise was consistent. It appears the infrastructure on the hotel is old despite a nice look. There is also no one there after 8 until 8 in the morning. A number to an answering service is provided if there is an issue or problem. That alone would cause me to stay somewhere else. We didn't know this at the time we made the reservation."

"This is our second time at this home . The house is in wonderful location for eating downtown and getting in and out of town. The house is very clean and beautiful. The landscape and trees really ad to the character of the home."
