"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access.
Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. If you need a base...

We thought this was such a value! The beds are comfortable. The shower is hot, and the complementary breakfast was generous. After reading the reviews, we brought earplugs for sleeping and had no problem with the street noises. Highly recommend doing that!

This is a great hotel if you like to stay someplace without paying for the "extras" of a modern hotel stay. They have coffee in the hall, hot showers and heaters if it's cold. No AC (although rarely needed), blow dryer, iron or continental breakfast. Perfect for simple travelers, but not for those who need pampering.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and in direct route of our travels in and out of Napa and the surrounding areas. It sits just 2 minutes from downtown Napa's eateries, entertainment, and wine-focused businesses. The Bel Abri staff was warm and hospitable and we enjoyed our stay for two nights.
