Being that it was our first time ever in the DR, Natura Cabana provided us a week full of lifetime experiences and memories. Hospitable and friendly, the entire staff makes you feel right at home each and everyday. It was never any trouble for staff to serve all of our needs. The hotel is quite a walk from CAB. The lady receptionist was sweet and extremely helpful and informative. A wonderful employee. She went back upstairs and left us extra towels for the bath and for the beach. Showed us where everything was and how to use all the controls, kitchen things, questions about the maid cleanup, etc. The place is VERY spacious, with modern windows and bathrooms, microwave, HDTVs, books in English, only 8 apts. We spent our honeymoon at Villa Taina and absolutely loved it. We did not want the all inclusive experience because we wanted to explore the country and get an authentic feel of the Dominican and the people. While the hotel is located in a "tourist town", we still feel that we got to experience the locals and all the area has to offer. Everything was fenomenal the staff the food the eco rooms ..Istayed in the new Treehouse suite (i saw the giant penthouse also) great beds, hot water wifi nice exotic decoration..and the view of the beach oh geee what a gorgeous view from every room ..i sipped my mojito passion fruit on my balcony before grilled lobster.. Super clean and all green natural no noise no lines no crowds The 2 pools and jacuzzi you have a jumping board ..just like Tarzan..eco trails and surfing right here (...

On-site staff where excellent. Nice place great bargain. While not within walking distance of anything I will definitely stay at this secluded location. Pros: Outstanding view and roomy place great staff. Cons: Small Television and little pillows.

Expedia ranked this a 3 but I give it a 5. The hotel is a little old but we'll maintained. You can walk to the heart of town, Sosua beach and excellent restaurants close by. No need to rent a car or call a cab. It is on a dead end street so you here no moto conchos or other laud noise passing by like in most of the other hotels. This hotel was extremely affordable and nice! The food was AMAZING and the staff were wonderful! Miguel in particular was an amazing staff member and went above and beyond to make sure my fiance and I had a great stay.

The staff was very amicable, the room was excellent, the shower needs some fixing but other than that no complaints
