"The property manager Luis is friendly, supportive and happy to help - taking care of the guest (I remember the Spanish guy). The Hostel has a good view to the beach, walkable and can rent a bike closely. Easy access to locations. Very clean - down side is that the internet is weak in some points "

"The hostel was open for barely three months when we stayed over. Everything was brand new, clean and smart. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, as were the shared restrooms. There is a beautiful terrace and the location is really terrific, just at the foothills of the university and incredible library."

"Really terrible hostel. Feels like an institution instead of a hostel. All common areas are closed so you're just paying for a bed. Breakfast is ok and the staff are very nice and pleasant. Beds are very shaky, no lockers in the rooms, no shelves for the top bunks, 1 outlet for 6 beds. "

"Isabel and Ema gave us a really warm welcome. We got an upgrade. The room was son meticulously arranged and the building is tastefully decorated. "This property is amazing! There's an old mill with a stream, a cute bridge and fish to watch. There are fruit trees, an outdoor bbq building, mountain views and a town nearby with everything you need. It's about 20-25 minutes away from the university town of Coimbra, which has lots of tourist attractions, major shopping, etc. Also, the owners are wonderful and so helpful. This was a great experience and vacation."

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

"Staff was amazing!!! Arriving by car was a bit of a challenge but our stay was amazing!!! Loved the welcome champagne and cake, the in room hot tub, and delightful breakfast basket delivered to room. It was a five minute walk to the university and Machado museum and I highly recommend both!!!"
