"Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Parking was relatively easy, just behind the building. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was average (long wait times, mediocre food) but the included buffet breakfast was wonderful. Would stay here again."

"Soooooo clean, and spacious. Our room was a suite with twin beds in bedroom and table, sofa, and chairs. Small fridge and tv. Underground parking odd massive, I'm sure this place is crazy during the summer. We dined in the bar, had grilled cheese and ham sandwiches. Came with country potatoes. Service was 👍 fantastic. The pill is wonderful, raining so not much off a view as the window Fogged up... the balcony view cannot be beat. love this brand. They're the best!"

"Room was pleasant with a river view. I thought I had booked a double bed but the room had twin singles and we were told no double was available. Hotel didn’t seem especially busy but perhaps it was booked up."

"I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff is wonderful. There is a free transfer from the train station by bus and we were able to get into our room an hour early. The sheets on the bed were pristine and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. We were able to walk to the palace and university up the hill and down to the river."

"Amazing staff could not get any better in frienliness,helpfilness and efficiency. Loved the roof top deck. Location is central at first it feels a bit grity8 but across street is a great b akery, a few feet away is a Farmacia, abit further ,very good self service laundry an 1 block away is the post office . Also 1/2 block great restsurant and enterance to the fun area with plazas shops and restsurant....you can walk up hill to University. Be sure to see the Fado performance. Breakfast is a small buffet with obligatory scrambled eggs,bacon and rolls. Good hot chocolate out of machine that does coffee also. The best part is the STAFF!. Rooms clean and functional, free parking was appreciated."

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful and furnishings were suited to the era of when it was built. The breakfast was excellent and included with our stay. There is only one option for dinner and it was pricey. There is no wi-fi in the room, only the area near the bar. The TV in the room only has Portuguese channels. It would have been nice to have music playing in the bar/lounge."
