"The hostel is okay. There are nice people and the rooms are fine and for a very good price. However, don't expect a lot of service. Towels aren't provided and toilet paper is only replaced when asked for. Bathrooms aren't very clean. They also initially put me in the wrong room and than asked me to change or pay extra. It seems like this is intentional as the same happened to another visitor. Although Hotels.com states that breakfast and airport transfer are included, this is not the case."

Super clean, friendly, and well-maintained hostel in the heart of Copacabana. The staff is very warm and easy-going, I became friends with everyone quickly :). I liked how they updated the activities board daily and invited me to events going on that day. I even joined the Caipirinha-making class run by one of the staff, it was so much fun! The hotel is located in a quiet town named Pisac. The stuff related by blood and marriage and their pride of their place shows in how well they treat their guests. Their rooms will fulfill your basic needs with a bed and a bath. The rooms are clean and rustic with a down to earth decor. During our stay they were very accommodating to our late night arrival and upon our departure their breakfast was more than expected. You'll appreciate the lower elevation on your first day in this area.
