São Paulo is a rich city with a unique past. It's very old and becoming very new in some places. I have to admit there are some scary places when I was taking my Ubers around. Just be careful, look at your surroundings don't be flashy or rude.

I always enjoy my visits to Sao Paulo. I love the city but Republica area can be dangerous. I have had only 1 incident in the last 10 years and it was nothing serious. The city is full of incredible architecture and history!!!
