We expected that this would be an acceptable lodging option but were thrilled when we arrived here for our visit to Flinders Ranges. This is like a well operated hotel in the outback. The unit had good space, a functioning kitchen area in a great nature setting. Bedding and towels were better than you'd expect... especially for the affordable rates of Rawnsley Park. It's also a great location, close to major sights and trails.

Beautiful old building with generous rooms. Dinner was delicious and the staff were professional, quick and friendly. Would recommend for a central stay.

Stay here! A unique, completely comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bungaree Station is a still-functioning sheep farm, founded in 1841 and still run by descendants of the founders. By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. I stayed in a former stable, now a lovely free standing little...

Stayed for 12 nights, so it was a home away from home. The location is excellent - away from busy downtown, but the free commuter bus stopped right in front of the apartment for a 5 minute ride to center of town. Many restaurants in easy walking distance; parks and running trails a block away; walking distance to Elder park; our room was off the street and very quiet. Having basic kitchen facility and a washer/dryer was very helpful.
