Having just recovered from surgery on her wrist, I mentioned this, and a need for additionsl pillows, as a special request and everything from The George - from response time to accomodation - was five star. Breakfast (both continental and a la carte) was one of the best we've had and the bed was one of the comfiest. We were only here for two nights for a wedding but wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend ataying at The George! Also, use of the nearby CLC swimming pool was super easy and straightforward. Thanks to everyone at The George for a great stay."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was lovely bar a very large dark dirt mark across one of the chairs. Great location and so quiet despite being so close to the main road! Slightly disappointed by the diner as when we got there half the menu was not available due to not having enough ingredients. Other than that would highly reccomend this hotel for a staycation "

"Lovely welcome by friendly receptionist. Clean hotel room, comfortable bed. Fridge in room. All the mod cons. Great base for exploring area. Stunning heated swimming pool & jacuzzi. Cheerful, hardworking staff in restaurant. Breakfast, lots of choice, delicious. Had one dinner & must say, it was also delicious. Greeted by cleaning staff, who still made time to greet, even though hotel was super busy."
