"We had a lovely stay at San Karlu in Valletta. The hotel is tucked down a charming alleyway in a traditional building, which adds to the charm. Everything was super clean and well looked after. Our room was a great size for a few nights – comfy bed, good aircon, and plenty of hanging space. The rooftop pool was a real highlight — the perfect way to unwind after exploring the beautiful streets of Valletta and the Three Cities. The only downside was the breakfast — a bit limited and cramped, but honestly, for the price point, you can’t expect everything. There are plenty of fantastic cafés nearby for a proper coffee and pastry fix. The location is quiet at night but within easy walking distance to all the action for dinner and drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Overall, a fantastic little hotel at a great value. We’d definitely come back!"

"Lovely, clean, classy boutique style hotel within a historical building. All of the staff were fantastic and made our stay feel as though we were staying with good friends. The owner has a wealth of knowledge about Malta and the best attractions to see as well as suggestions of the best restaurants at reasonable prices. The hotel is also perfectly situated for exploring Valletta on foot. The owner and all of the staff worked hard to ensure that our stay was a memorable experience and we were made to feel valued and special."

"The hotel is in the central area in walking distance to many tours meeting points. The electric kettle was great appliance and two bottles of water were provided every day. The only issue we had was lack of shelves in the room and in the shower. The breakfast was good, served in a very tight area. The cars cannot drive to the hotels most of the day, so you may need to walk about 4 minutes to a more accessible location to take a taxi."
