Nice size pool, cool community center. The only issue is the area behind the building where there is a lot of homeless by the train station. "We stayed one night prior to our cruise out of Galveston. This one is perfect for short or long stay. It’s just one block from the ocean which can be seen from this location. Jamie the host is helpful with anything you need including directions, restaurants, island history, etc. if you’re cruising she will let you park and take you and pick you up at the cruise port. Great experience and value for your money."
