"Great modern apartment in safe area. Stayed 3 days, during moving in we noticed that tv remote is missing, we contacted the management right away, and they replay that someone will get back to us. No update or remote was received within 3 days of our stay, very disappointed. Other than that apartment is great."

"Accommodations were easily accessible and cleanly. Everything was prepared for us well before check in time and it was easy to check-in and out of the property. The only thing I’d note is that while there the location is renovating which meant our floor was an active construction zone during the day. It didn’t disturb our stay much (except for the morning they tested the fire alarm system at 8 am), but it would have been nice if the property had communicated that with us. "Friendly and helpful onsite staff, especially Gisli who looks after our needs and help resolve any issues. He is courteous, responsive and problem solving. Hotel location is excellent. washroom is small and tight. A bit of noise from street. Overall facilities are good. Will come back to this apartment hotel."

"Wonderful experience! This is my second time staying at one of Alfred's properties. The units are well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Communication with owner/manager is excellent and very responsive. The location could not be better. Close to fancy restaurants as well as casual places. Reykjavik's best coffee and bakeries are within two blocks. Shopping at Bonus and Kronan are also super convenient. The only area for improvement is that black out curtains/shades could be more effective. "

"The check in was a smooth and easy process. There was construction going on around the property on the road which made things confusing, created detour. The room was nice but when other people left or entered their room it was really loud as the sound would carry- to the point it sounded like they were accessing your room. "Awesome apartment. TV is ready to watch anything; heated floors in the bathroom; super comfy bed; lots of room; convenient to sites and shopping; and they stopped by every day to check on us. The ceramic convection burner was a little touchy and difficult to get just right. Practically perfect!"

Had to walk up steep steps with luggage. A bit noisy at night, due to being on a main street. A little hard to locate- signage could be better. "
