"Lovely, modern, upscale hotel. We splurged for two nights on our trip in order to stay in this area. The room was nicely decorated, and clean. The mini fridge coolness was questionable. We enjoyed the hot tubs while overlooking the meadows that lead to the ocean, a nice way to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was plentiful, with a European spread of yogurts, fruit, cheese, meat, eggs, bacon, cereals and breads. The hotel is a reasonable distance to the Skaftafel hike, as well as the Svinafell glacier which was fun to explore. The Mulagljufur Canyon, and glacier lagoons aren't too far in the opposite direction."

"The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms are nicely appointed and attractive. The breakfast offered many delicious choices. Overall I thought it was a good value and would stay there again. "
