CA Sand Dune Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were very helpful. The property felt clean and relaxing."

Talbot and Bons Boutique Bed & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"This was the cutest little place! We arrived late and everything was set up for us, including an extra adapter at the check-in table that we ended up needing. It’s unfortunate. We had to leave so early in the morning. I would’ve loved to explore this place even more."

Talbot House by Talbot & Bons

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was exactly what I wanted and wish I had more time to stay there longer, more than one night. When I say exactly what I wanted, I mean a house or room of character, an authentic building or "classic" if you will and I loved it. Also, the property manager Cherise was extremely helpful, my wife and I visit Malta a lot and will certainly be back to this property again."

Palazzo Castagna

10/10 Excellent

"I took my wife to Malta for her birthday, I found this beautiful boutique hotel by chance on Expedia...what a find!!! The hotel is amazing, an old building restored to its former glory and more. Our garden view room was brilliant, so clean, good shower & the bed was very comfy. The balcony was a lovely extra touch. On arrival the staff had put a birthday card for my wife and a bottle of wine in our room...what a lovely gesture. The food at the hotel, was great. Lovely buffet style breakfast & a very good restaurant. We really enjoyed eating at the roof top bar by the pool :) The underground indoor pool was also a extra bonus & a nice surprise. Special thanks to the staff for making our stay so wonderful...Nirosha, Krishna & Mark you guys made it so special :) x"

South 32 Hotel by Zzzing

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel well located , 20 mins to hotel, sea infront of ys and lots of speed boats in the water which was lovely view from balcony. Breakfast was fine nice and easy Room - we stayed in supreme room with sea view it was excellent for us . You can request it as twin or double . Room was clean and spacious . Balcony was perfect . Mattress was amazing, super comfy bedding. Staff were lovely - we didn't need much interaction but we got what we needed . Left luggage in their lock up storage room after checkout . Very handy to do local exploring on the day you leave . AC saved us as we popped in and out of the reception and beach so recommend it for that. Thankyou to all the staff for a lovely stay ."

Penthouse - absolutely stunning sea views - spacious, bright, all round terraces

8/10 Good

"We had a lovely stay in this penthouse. The view and location are absolutely unbeatable. The apartment is bright, spacious, modern and feels new. We had an amazing time in Malta overall. There were, however, a couple of things that could be improved. The apartment could have been cleaner on arrival. The floors were dusty, with bits sticking to our feet, and there was dust/fluff under the beds and in the corners. The shower basins also needed more attention. In one bedroom, the bedsheets didn’t appear freshly changed and there was a stain on the pillowcase. We covered it with towels for the first night, and the sheets were replaced the following day.The other issue was the electricity allowance. The listing stated that sufficient credit would be provided for the stay, so we trusted this and weren’t told to monitor the balance. On day 2 of our 8-day stay, we returned from the beach to find the electricity had run out, leaving us without air conditioning and with the fridge off. We had to go out and get change. And some food spoiled in the fridge. We were told the allowance was 2.50 per day. This may be sufficient in cooler months, but in August our usage was closer to 8 per day. We were happy to pay for extra electricity; we simply weren’t prepared for it to run out so quickly. Clearer information about the allowance and monitoring the meter would have helped. With a little more attention to cleaning and clearer information, this could be an excellent place to stay."
