"Super practical and family friendly hotel in IKEA town Ălmhult. Parking is free and safe outside. Passing through we appreciated the free to use washing facilities and the many games and activities the hotel offers. You even get free entrance to the IKEA hotel opposite, so follow the many signs to the museum, as many Sat navs will take you somewhere else.
Ălmhult has excellent shopping on the outskirts of town as well.
Highly recommended as a practical stop over and of course a must if furniture...
"We had a nice visit to Kalmar and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is convenient to the train station as well as the central part of the city. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. "

"We loved this hotel. The rooms are really big, modern, clean, and comfortable! The location is very conveniently located, which made it easy to get around. The gym is small, but has everything you need to get a good workout in. I'd say it is one of the better hotel gyms I have seen. The only complain was that the spa wasn't open during our stay (which we didn't know until we arrived). But apart from that we loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again next time we are in Gothenburg!"
"Lovely hotel in a lovely area with easy walk to the central area. Lovely sitting space outside and a great breakfast choices. Without air conditioning it was tough during the hot spell however would be fine normally"
"We were in Gothenburg for the Gothia Soccer Tournament and really scored on our choice of location for never having been there. This was right at the doors of the amusement park and had easy access to public transportation. We were perfectly located to travel to the many venues for the games. Great breakfast and lots for kids to do. Would recommend for families and stay there again if we are able to return to the soccer tournament. My only complaint was the lack of access to laundry as it was costly and not convenient which made our room pretty smelly after a week of visiting."
