Carina Bay Boutique All Inclusive Resort & Casino

"If you traveled outside the U.S. to all inclusive resorts, this will not feel all inclusive. I came out of pocket to generally get around to one excursion and to and from the airport more than the cost of my stay. There are not really a whole lot of activities at the resort and it can still use quite a bit of development. No smoking signs were posted, not particularly enforced. One night they ran out of food. Pros: Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good food. Free shuttle to cleaner beach. Cons: Cost of taxis. Far proximity to a lot of excursions. Seaweed accumulates on shore. Food access closes fairly early (10pm) No gift/souvenir shop."

"We had a wonderful time while staying here for our vacation. The staff was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful with our questions about navigating the island. We enjoyed taking out the kayaks and using the snorkeling gear the hotel provided. The pool was warm and clean. The room was always cleaned when we needed it. Having beach towels provided was also a pleasant surprise. We stayed in an sea view room and we were impressed at the size of the room. The suite had plenty of space and comfortable chairs. We would highly recommend this resort! We can't wait to return!"

"What a great location with 5 star views. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves for the 5 days we stayed. The resort could use a little updating but I’m not complaining because I loved every bit of our time there. Breakfast is amazing! I’m so sad it’s going to be turning into a club med. Such a beautiful resort."
