"Fourth time we have stayed there over the years, it is convenient for the bridge across to Bilbao port and offers a good range of local ameities nearby providing you can find somewhere convenient to park. We could not get the air con / fan working that evening. They have upgraded the rooms compared to the previous visits and the picture accurately shows the view we had. The improvement work continues and IT IS NO ANSWER TO SAY IN SPAIN BUILDERS ARE ALLOWED TO START AS EARLY AS 8:00 WHEN WORKING IN A BUILDING. My suggestion that such an early start (on a Saturday morning) was not really what you'd expect from a professional hotelier was just met (from morning staff) with a shrug of shoulders. it's Spanish rules! Very welcoming Breakfast good, albeit with just one member of staff there, to check people in and find initial coffee plus attend to eberything else there are understandably longer waits then should be the case for some of the food replenishments to come out.
