"Our daughter just turned 43 and is severely challenged and in a wheelchair requiring her helper Staff to assist. The house had the proper h/c accommodations for this without having the appearance of such. This is not a medical facility but, a wonderful camp on a beautiful lake that allows for your needs or just a great camp with no h/c needs. "I’m forever overjoyed with the way people transform small spaces and this cabin is on point! I never even knew the lake was right behind the place! How my dog and I enjoyed our daily walks along the lake road. The lake is a paddlers paradise. Most days I was the only one out there. It IS cabin living so you’ll have some occasional hard water experiences and the fyi g insects are hatching now so they like to visit. Gratefully my dog loves to eat them. Enjoy.! "My husband and I wanted a relaxing few days to get away from our hectic lives. This small cabin was perfect, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Reading a book on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee was my favorite part. It is a quiet place in the woods but close to many small and quaint towns to visit in Vermont. "I was in Brattleboro for one night, and this Inn was well-reviewed and within my budget, so I booked a room. The location is fantastic, on an easy route into town, very easy to get around by car. What struck me most was the friendliness of the front desk staff, both on check-in and check-out. As a solo woman traveller, I felt totally safe and respected. The building itself was dated, but that's very typical of the area, and it was clean, well-maintened, and safe. I also liked how many quick food choices were within easy walking distance. I'll definitely pick this hotel again if I'm ever passing through town. "
