"There were restaurants very close. I found an easy way to get into the parking lot the day before we left. The main road in front is very busy. Not a very good choice of breakfast items at the hotel. The coffee wasn't very good. The staff was always attentive at the front desk. Very close to New Branfels and Gruene. Very affordable. "

"Dave at the front desk was great, made check in so quick and easy. The only mark off is the beds, they were thin, hard, and basically a mat. "

"It would be nice if there was more detail to some of the cleanliness of the room, dust balls around the bed and some of the lightbulbs needed to be replaced and perhaps some maintenance on the appearance of the air condition unit. More than anything it’s just fine-tuning on things that can be done to upkeep the property."

"The rooms were clean and spacious. We really liked the extra counter space next to the refrigerator and microwave. The food at the Grill was also good and very convenient."

"The hotel is clearly old, but very quaint. We were surprised that the room was so quiet, especially being right next to the Interstate, and we were in a room right next to the parking lot. Never heard a sound once our room door closed, as though the room was sound-proof! Adding a door to the toilet/shower room wouldn't hurt, but otherwise, our stay was good. No complaints."

"The hotel was ok, the staff was friendly, but the town of Johnson City was not welcoming to visitors. We went to a local bar in town and they would not serve us. All of the residential streets were blocked with residents only signs. I will not be returning to Johnson City EVER. If i were you, find somewhere else to go."

"We loved our stay at the Blanco Inn. The lady who ran the inn was so nice and hospitable. It was the perfect place to relax. Great outdoor areas. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Great parking. I can’t say enough good about this place. We will definitely be back! "

"Great outdoor pool! The elevator wasn’t working when we were there but it wasn’t the end of the world since we’re able-bodied. Wouldn’t have given 5 stars for clean but there was a huge stain on the mattress in the couch pull out. Typically happy with Drury so no complaints otherwise. "
