"I needed a base for sleeping and getting ready for a night out in the Valley. FV is a (25 mins) nice and easy walk. This hotel was perfect - I needed a clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient place to stay at a good price that had parking. I am a solo female traveller and felt very safe at hotel and in the area. Check-in and check-out was friendly and very efficient. It's not the most modern and fancy place, but I didn't need any of the amenities of a big 4* hotel (and there is a Mercure next door if you need the bar, restaurant etc). The room had a bar fridge, aircon and a good tea/coffee set-up. (Maybe have some earplugs to hand if you're a light sleeper as the city's garbage collection on Monday at 5am are not the hotel's fault but woke me up). "
