"We booked the Ryder suite. Beautiful and luxurious room. There was a nearby bar or restaurant that was very loud into the early morning hours (2-3 am) but we can’t fault the property for that. Otherwise our stay was perfect. "

The only suggestion would be for the floorboards in the room above Sopwell (ground floor) to be screwed down as these were squeaky when the occupant in the room above was moving around which woke us up as the squeaks were quite loud. The free parking was great and the system was easy to use, the instructions sent prior to arrival were clear for the check-in and checkout process. "

Only thing we weren’t happy with was our check in experience, but that was a system design issue, not the on-site staff’s fault. They should ditch their self check-in kiosks, which weren’t able to work for any guests when we arrived, and just put a proper registration desk back in and staff it full time. They’re clearly trying to save on labor costs, but it started off the otherwise pleasant stay on a negative. "

"Food was lovely but when we had meal in the restaurant Saturday night we was not told until we sat down and looked at menu we could only have soft drinks as their licence had not been renewed in time. We should have been told this on arrival Rooms were horrible. Lumpy bed and pillows and very small bathroom "

"I didn’t receive entry instructions until the day after my rental started. The owner blamed the management company and they blamed the owner. On arrival the studio was not clean, The floor and sofa had crumbs on them, the grill pan had food scraps in it and the only tea towel had food scraps on it. The shower wouldn’t turn off on the first use so Chris, the owner had to come over to fix it. The living area was cold and a notice said ‘do not touch the heating temps’. The TV didn’t work. There was no dish soap, no toiletries in the bathroom.I requested a days refund but both parties claim the other should make the decision even though neither sent me ‘check in’ instructions until the second day of the rental."
