About this property
Pretty Converted Stable Block. Village Centre, close to Lost Gardens of Heligan
Escape to Nantuat Stables, a charming cottage in the centre of peaceful St Ewe, near The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Three spacious en-suite double bedrooms, a large kitchen, two cosy living rooms and generous social spaces. Enjoy the private garden, covered outdoor hideaway and BBQ area. Stylish interiors and modern bathrooms create a calm retreat, with the owners nearby for reassurance while ensuring privacy. A short walk to the village pub offers good food without the need to drive.
Nantuat Stables is a beautifully presented two-storey cottage offering three spacious en-suite bedrooms and private off-road parking for two to three cars. A welcoming porch entrance leads into the cottage, where on the ground floor you will find a comfortable twin bedroom with its own bathroom, ideal for guests seeking easy access accommodation.
The large, well-equipped kitchen opens directly onto a terrace and a generous, private south-facing garden - a wonderful space for indoor-outdoor living. The garden features a covered seating area, perfect for relaxing on warm evenings or enjoying a barbecue with family and friends.
Just off the kitchen is a useful utility room with a washing machine, as well as the first of the two living rooms, a bright garden room with French doors opening onto the garden.
Upstairs, there are two further, spacious bedrooms each with their own, modern bathrooms. Upstairs is also the second, large living room designed to make the most of the surrounding views. This comfortable space has lots of comfy seating, a wood burner and also includes a table area suitable for home working.
Decorated in soft coastal tones throughout, the cottage has a light, airy atmosphere. St Ewe is a quiet village making this a peaceful retreat for relaxing and unwinding away from the bustle of everyday life.
A short stroll from the cottage brings you to The Crown Inn, a popular local pub serving excellent food, perfect for an evening out without needing to drive.
The world famous Lost Gardens of Heligan are very close to the cottage and the village of St Ewe is very much part of the Heligan story. Visit St Ewe church to see artwork commissioned by Heligan to commemorate the Armistice and discover the village's connections to the Gardens.
Nantuat Stables sits in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The traditional fishing village of Mevagissey is just down the road, with two picturesque harbours and plenty of shops and cafes to visit. With lots of beaches on your doorstep, you can choose between well serviced beaches at Gorran Haven or Pentewan or opt for the more unspoilt and wild options like Vault or Hemmick. The cottage sits at the top of the stunning Roseland Peninsula, with pretty villages, beautiful coast path walks and unspoilt beaches all waiting to be discovered.
The central location of the cottage in Cornwall makes this a perfect base for exploring all parts of the County, with Lands End and Tintagel all within easy reach for day trips.
