Tudor house stay-In Town Location!

This amazing, 1st floor unit in a 1930 Tudor home was just updated with modern amenities while keeping the old charm like stained glass windows. This comfortable, 2 bed 1 bath unit is within walking distance to all that St. Charles has to offer. .4mi to the Arcada and walking distance to Everything downtown from Restaurants and breweries to shopping. Located just 2 blocks from the river and Mount St. Mary Park and the Fox River Bike path Trail.
Strict Covid cleaning requirements

The house is a 2-flat and this unit is the first floor. Both apartments have separate heating and cooling including central heat and air. This unit also has exclusive use of the unfinished basement which has a washer and dryer. The Single car wide driveway is also exclusive for this unit.

St. Charles is a place where rich history meets exciting opportunity. Featuring charming neighborhoods, historic buildings, and shaded parks on the banks of the scenic Fox River, St. Charles makes for the perfect convenient getaway spot, an urban oasis far removed from the hustle and bustle of City life. Although St. Charles has a small-town feel, we pride ourselves on big-time attractions.

Here, you can enjoy live entertainment and arts events or take in the natural beauty of our parks and trails.

Our vibrant Main Street shopping district features a wide range of mouthwatering eateries and delightful shops in historic buildings, each complete with their own distinct stories.

There is a ring doorbell on the front door on the porch. This device is motion sensor and records. It is not actively monitored but it is always on and recording when there is motion. Tampering with or blocking the camera will result in immediate termination of your stay.

Beautiful space!

The house was spotless, well appointed and the beds were very comfortable! It was close to down town as well as family we were visiting and all communication was quick and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Best host, great location!

We had a last minute trip. Host responded immediately. Home was adorable and as advertised. Location is walkable to downtown breweries and eateries etc. LOVED IT!

St Charles family trip

We've tried several hotels while visiting family in Chicago, decided to rent a house this time, it was a good decision, much more privacy, more relaxing. This house in particular was great,beautiful neighborhood, don't regret it.

A comfortable and convenient spot!

This was our second stay (or was it our third?) in Jeff's Tudor. A great location, close to shopping & eating in St Charles & Geneva. Quiet, roomy, & comfortable with a respnsive host.. Only caveat is the somewhat steep front steps.

Amazing House

Absolutely Wonderful! 5 Stars all around!

This property was so cute. The location was absolutely perfect being in a very nice neighborhood where we felt 100% safe walking our dogs or going into the town..which is just a couple blocks down the street. Tons of fun places to go and see. The unit was clean and comfortable and as expected. Communication with the owner was prompt and we had zero issues while we were there. Definitely hoping to rebook there again soon!

Accurately described and perfect location

This property was exactly as described and very clean - was a block or two from downtown St. Charles and minutes drive to Geneva (my favorite). It was 4.9 miles from Lamplight equestrian center where I was competing. Check in was a little sticky - I didn't get instructions ahead of time and the code did not work - I called Jeff, he answered and immediately resolved the issue. Would stay there again!

Lovely Tudor Home in downtown St. Charles

Very clean, comfortable, spacious home with everything one would need. The kitchen was very well equipped.Excellent television coverage and convenient to restaurants, grocery, breakfast cafes l, and wine bars. We had dinners at two of the restaurants and they were exceptional. Close to walking along the Fox River. Jeff was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. We will be back the next time we are in the area!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, roomy, and well-appointed

Not enough complimentary words to describe this property! The first floor of a tastefully updated older house; new windows; new appliances; new furnishings; a very well equipped kitchen; the bed we used was very comfortable (and the property is replete with thoughtfully placed night lights!); and a killer air conditioner! We were here through an August heat wave and were very comfortable. Add the location (should I have done that first?). Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in downtown St. Charles; Two miles to the shops and restaurants on Third Street in Geneva! In a neighborhood of updated early 20th century homes; on a corner lot, but the new windows insulate from most traffic noise. Excellent WiFi; large TV with Direct TV & WiFI. Add on a responsive owner and you have a winner! We will be back!

Perfect reunion spot

Charming cottage in a super convenient location in St. Charles. We loved all the historic details of the house, and it was just right for my parents and I. The location couldn't be beat--we were just a 5 minute drive from the friends we were visiting. Though it's off a busy street, it was also very quiet. Would stay here again!
