Boiler had lost pressure and there was no hot water or heating on arrival. Contact with the host led to prompt attendance of a plumber who fixed it ( on a Sunday evening). A few basics would have been nice in the kitchen such as instant coffee, tea, salt and pepper, fresh milk. The cupboards were completely bare. The shower was low in pressure and was over the bath. Not sure why English plumbing is so universally poor! A simple shower enclosure with a big shower head (rather than a European flexible hose type) would be much better. The place was otherwise luxurious and very clean. The information asked is to put all rubbish in the wheelie bin but the wheelie bin was nowhere to be found.
