We had 3 choices and this was the right one. Recently updated and quite nice, especially for the price. Nearby to area wineries and tourist attractions so that's a plus. It was clean, quiet even though close to I-44. Offers light breakfast.

"I can’t say enough good things about this property or the hosts.The cottage itself is incredibly cozy and well-appointed. We were there for a week during a major heatwave and ended up spending more time in the cottage itself, since the original plan(s) of hiking got shut down due to heat advisories in the area. That said, we had a great time playing board games, watching Netflix and trying out new recipes (the kitchen had everything we needed). We never find the time to do these kinds of things together back home, so this was great.The cottage is located close to Maramec Spring Park, which is absolutely beautiful. We managed to make it over there on the one sub-90 degree day we had. The hosts were always available and even cut some firewood for us so that we could enjoy the fire pit out back.This will definitely be our go-to place whenever we are in St. James or Rolla in the future."
