My comforter was stained and so was the window shade. The shower faucet was broken. An item was stolen from my room and when I reported it to the manager, he told me it was “Not his problem”

It may have been because of FIFA…in the mornings trying to go down for breakfast was a struggle…the elevators were packed and we had to let several (3-4) go by before finally pushing onto the elevator. The guests were just as polite as the staff…everyone understood.

We had a beautiful view of the city and the iconic New Years Eve ball. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall no issues, however the bedding had hair on it and the shower was dirty and disgusting. I wish I brought shower shoes that's how grossed out I was. Seems to be the trend for most NYC hotels which I don't understand at all.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The room was decent, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The location is great, because it’s close enough to midtown attractions without being in the craziness of midtown. Subway access was super convenient to get pretty much anywhere in the city. Two minor things that didn’t justify taking away a star: The bedside light didn’t have a switch, so we had to keep plugging and unplugging it behind the table, which was surprisingly annoying. Also, nearly every day we came back to the room after a day of walking in crazy heat (always different times, always later in the day), housekeeping either hadn’t been by or were still cleaning. A minor inconvenience, but a bit frustrating when you desperately want to lay down and rest before going out for an evening. Minor issues that didn’t diminish our overall stay, but could have been better. Overall, highly recommended for anyone staying in Manhattan.
