"Everything about this stay was excellent from arrival to departure.The staff were welcoming and very friendly.The room was very clean and the food was excellent.The only downside is that we found out during our stay that the owner has decided to sell it.We feel sorry for the staff who run it for him as they will be out of a job.Hopefully they will find somewhere pretty quick.Another pub gone to the wall."

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "

"Last minute booking as forecast wasn't good.Lovely little cottage, easy to find with the directions.Everything we needed there, and good local info in the info pack.Note one pub didn't serve food on mon and tue night and the other happened to be closed while we were there.But lots of choice for take away in the local towns 10min drive away."

"Nice property, TV reception is hopeless and has been previously noted but no improvement Location is excellent in a very nice village with an excellent pub a very short walk away which does good food Off street parking for ONE car, dog friendly but small garden not enclosed or fenced.Seems to be managed by a company as opposed to the actual owner.Overall I would recommend but don’t rely on the TV or the garden as it’s very small and not fenced if you have a pet with you, a genuine 7/10"
